South African Reserve Bank bursary is given to individuals with excellent academic performance who want to continue their study and take subjects related to banking activities. SARB (South African Reserve Bank) has a bigger responsibility to maintain and achieve stable price as well as making sure that the country reaches sustainable economic growth. SARB is responsible for creating monetary policies, issuing banknotes and coins, overseeing banking management and systems, and much more. Any interested participants wanting to take information technology, law, finance, accounting, or finance can apply for the bursary.


South African Reserve Bank bursary includes tuition fees, university accommodation, and also the prescribed books. Upon completing the bursary, students are required to give back by working for SARB for a certain period of time whose amount or value is equal to the value of the bursary they have been getting. If the participants want to undertake vacation work, they are allowed to do so and the bank will provide the fund. Applicants should be the citizens of South Africa and they shouldn’t be more than 30 years of age when apply.
