SAIRR’s bursary was first founded in 1935 and through this bursary, famous people like Nelson Mandela’s education was funded. The candidates also didn’t fail to make the bursary proud by serving well in all fields. Now, South Africa is proud to call the bursary of its heritages. SAIRR supports education and only wish the best for South Africa so candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds are encouraged to apply – and even, they will be given preference. Here are the fields of studies available for you to choose: Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Built Environment and Engineering. So, does one of these fields of studies managed to capture your eyes? Aside from being South African citizen with valid ID number, you must succeed at completing your Grade 12 or Matric and must have both mathematics and science as your top subjects. Your matric certification must have a high result. The bursary wouldn’t provide you if you weren’t studying full time at a university and must include the proof of your university acceptance.
