As one of the largest supermarket chain in South Africa – second largest in fact, Pick n Pay offers bursaries programs to help their employees to educate their children. Pick n Pay seeks for someone reeking of potentials to support for – the country’s future is in their hand, after all. Established in 1967, Pick n Pay has grown into a large company with 50000 employees. Students with parents or legal guardian who are the citizens of South Africa can apply for the bursaries. Pick n Pay casual staff may apply for the bursaries as well but, full-time staff is not eligible. Applicants must be currently registered at the University of Technology or University for a diploma or degree. Minimally, you must be in your first year of tertiary study and you must have the minimum of 50% for the first semester of the current year. As for the fields of studies and values, the information isn’t included so, it must be up to you for the fields of studies and the value of this bursary will be notified later on.
