Funza Lushaka is a program to help more people get the education they deserve and is supported by National Treasury through funding for the bursaries and National Student Financial Aid through administration but the head behind this particular bursary scheme is Department of Basic Education. The requirements you need to fulfill in order to be considered as one of the candidates to get the bursary is by being accepted into a higher institution on a certain field of studies, you also must be a South African citizen with the proof of you being an African by giving valid ID number and also enthusiasm in teaching. You are required to have good grades as well with the proofs of it – matric certificate, standard score around 60% and 50%.   1. I obtained a batchelors degree in my matric certificate and my mathematics is the lowest one with 30%.I want to knw if i do qualify for a bursary through Foundation phase.
