SAPS Bursaries

saps bursaries

SAPS (South African Police Service) bursary is often called as the Tracker Bursary Scheme. The main goal is to help students reach their goal and dream in getting the education they want. The program was started in 2004 and intended to provide the tertiary funds for children of the late police officers protecting their country and killed during the duty. The bursary is given to students who qualify for the Information and Communications Technology. It covers the tuition fees only; any additional expenses related to the study are the responsibility of the students. SAPS applicants should be the South African citizen, taking plans to study for the ICT qualifications. They should be the children of police officers killed during their duty and plan to continue their study in the higher grade. Applications can be sent (and even encouraged) to be done online. Any interested candidates should provide certified copy of their ID, the death certificate of the police officer, the recent exam result, registration of acceptance from recognized tertiary institutions, motivational letter, and course cost breakdown. Hand delivery and submission can also be implemented. Anyone interested in the SAPS Bursaries can visit the official website at www.tracker.co.za to learn more about SAPS requirements, application form and the further processing details.
