JSE or Johannesburg Stock Exchange was first founded in 1887 which means it has been a century. JSE is now at the 19 place on the largest stock market in the world, not bad huh? Aside from that, JSE offers 11 fields of studies you can choose to further your education that are Actuarial Science, Bachelor of Accounting Science, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Economic Science, Bachelor of Mathematical Science, Computational and Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics and last but not least, Mathematics Statistics. However there are certain requirements you need to fulfill before you get accepted. First, aside from South African citizen can’t apply for the bursary. You must be studying for the 2nd or 3rd year and must be studying one of the aforementioned fields of studies. The minimum achievement for the previous year of study is 65%. And you must be financially needy in order to get the bursary. Most of the expense like college tuition and residence fees will be covered by the bursary so, you don’t need to worry.
